just pull of the plastic cap with a screw driver and there is a huge torx you can tighten, ive used an 8mm allen key and still managed to get enough grip to turn the screw. The clutch screw only needs to be turned like 5 - 10 degrees clockwise.
Mate, you've made me save about $100... and 200-300 gr of weight on my bike. I've tighten the clutch and it feels like brand new! Too bad I can't test ride it (injuried) but I'm pretty sure the problem is solved.
Whenever you go to Bromont in 2017 (if you do), let me know, I own you a beer!
It's the 3rd chain, 2nd chainring, original cassette, ~5000miles. Chain is still under .75% wear. I've put more tension on the B-screw, but it only reduced the frequency of the drops.
Is there only a way (screw) to tighten the clutch?
There's (way) less resistance in the cage when pulling foreward than it used to. It use to be very stiff, no chain drop ever, even in the gnar.
