it's kinda funny because if you look at bmxing they paint their bikes al kinds of crazy colours and no one cares because they're more bothered about the riding - oh yeah, I forgot - loads of mtbers are fashion wankers who are more bothered about looking cool than riding hard!

love the trick, with a bit of purple on your frame n it would be the lamest paintjob ever. for c*ntO: i guess the ones who wanna look cool r the ones who paint their bikes to show off like that. theres a lot of cam mccauls in our sport who like pink n purple, i dont care if they'r ruled by the fashion world n if let the f*gs fashion designers tell them what looks cool or not. but don't put this guys on the same bag as the ones who care about the looks because want their bikes to look good rather than COOL or IN. i don't know y the world is trying to turn the 2000s into the new 80s, the lamest decade ever. MTB was always bout evolution so mtbikers should look forward in a inovative way rather than look back trying to look old school like almost everyone else in these past 2 years.

well I agree with a lot of what you said ty3 - but actually, the colour of the bike is irrelevant to my point. I was talking about how some people see a picture of rider throwing down something they probably cant and will never do (a whip on dirt) and automatically start debating the colour of his frame. Where's the respect, where's the "props, that was sweet man". It's got nothing to do with any kind of style, it's about how people need to be more riding focused. MTBers are notorious component geeks. Planning everything down to the last colour coded washer. Sometimes it's just like - learn to f*cking ride, forget the new bit you need - excuses excuses.
