Haha.. yes it's a chunky pig!

 Yawza.. I had some trouble with that BX headset. Bottom cup contacted top of fork crown ever so slightly under compression. Took me a while to figure out the issue. Fix was to add shims under crown race to jack top of crown away from bottom cup.. working perfectly now, thankfully as I did not want to order another headset!

 huh. I've never heard of that or had it happen. You are clearly too gnarly for this set up.

 Haha.. naw, did research it and not uncommon with this headset for tolerances to be out just a little. Lucky if yours was bang on.

 so far no issues and the Vein would have been the perfect test.
