Wanna give a huge shout out to my bike . You have improved my riding , taken me down trails I never thought I could do and take my unco fat arse all over the place and never fail me. You make me love MTB more and more each ride. If any of you feel half the love I have for my bike ( Rodney) you are blessed .

Man I even talk to my bike haha . It took a few months to get the love as I was on a 29er but now rocket rod is like a trained puppy and as one with myself. I just couldn't imagine my life with my bike! You got some great names for your bikes man Wink

Absolutely mate . Popped some spokes last week but that was just trying to be a hero on a double lol. The forks just always perform , fuck it everything performs . The oval ring is the best upgrade I've done on a bike since swapping the juicy 3's for SLX brakes lol.

@samjam: doubles are the shit, until you case the crap of them...love the part about just tying to be a hero, come to think about it, that's the best reason to give your lbs every single time you come in with mangled bike parts....I was just riding along, then baaam, I tried to hero the shit out of that double lol ,,,I'd definitely be interested to try the oval ring, anything to give myself some kind of advantage against the other old timers,,,

@FastDHR: haha yeah he would actually be proud of me doing that . I do the odd trail with one of the lbs guys . Nice fella. All component warranty ends next week lol . I don't mind the doubles they are just a bit big for a old fat dude . Bro you know me so well. I would never put you into something that is just a gimmick but this is for real . The oval just smooths out the strokes and I actually climb faster coz of it. Don't think it gives me more power going down but is more responsive and no wasted pedalling . Get one

It's a mental thing bro. If you completely trust your bike and give it love it will do its best to protect you. It's funny that I talk to my bike and in my head it talks back but sounds like donkey from shrek haha . Kind of like its from the hood

@baggyferret: that sounds so true mate. It's a relationship only we understand and those who ride .

@samjam: it's true, i can feel when my bike is happy on the trail or out of it's comfort zone, i ride usually 5 days a week and now know my bikes so well, i ride a new trail and think hmmm my prophet would love this one, am i mad? lol probably!

@samjam: easy to say the right thing surrounded by good people with open minds ..whom,are not fazed by life because they embrace it with no fear. Mtb's play a big part in my chemical balance upstairs.. I would probably be a mass murderer Sam,if didn't ride.. lol ..peace and love from the other side of the world bro tup

@topsedit: if I said I love my bike to non riders I would get laughed at but here it's good to talk about my addiction coz ya'll get it. Shit I love this MTB thing , the Pb mates, the first time hitting s jump , a climb or even a flat crappy trail . I don't think I would be a murderer but I wouldn't be the person I am today
