I thought so - I've got a 2006 Bighit III but wasn't sure how big the bike could actually drop, now I know, cheers. I need to get myself over to Morzine. The photo will be POD!

i have an 2006 specialized BigHit II and ive dont a 15 foot drop and it held up fine

yeah that is amazing. Everyone I spoke to in france who'd seen it were basically saying "No f*cking way" - the size the run off, everything - it scared people silly. So respect - and respect for being honest and not acting all 'whatever' about it. You've got serious balls.

I'm riding a Specialized Bighit III with marzocchi 888rc2x, hope mono6 brakes, DT swiss 440 hubs on FR6.1D rims, and shimano XT rather than sram X9/7 mech and shifter. Gonna be changing the frame for a Transition Dirtbag soon though, as I'm after something a little lighter.
