@ledude: thats what all this silly business if for..Boundary Bay Brewery in Bellingham ... I get the whole feeding lobby there's gonna be mega people that see it!
@sterlingmagnum: oh sweet! I thought it was a print. Wood burning is fun. I've done a few good wood carvings that became great after I added the burn to em. Imagine if you lived close by and we started building skateboards together. We'd be rich bitch! But seriously, if you want deets on starting up your own skateboard building, I've got a good springboard technique for you to consider. Look up roarockit.com.
@obee1: sick.... yeah that would be sweet, I imagine we could have fun.... For now I have to just get blanks from Skatpaige.com...they have alright deals for onesie twosies... but if I was totally honest I like the idea of pressing my own. My Buddy Dan Murdey pressed boards in Portland for 10 years under the name M&M skateboards. If you are ever in the market for a surf board look no further... he is the man. www.murdeysurfboards.com
once you have the bag and kit all you need is veneer. a board set of veneers is around $30. the first board I made from this technique is still in use.
Imagine if the bottom of his board was the bottom of this board? whoa...infinity graphic...
