Get Trek, it's heavier then sx but you can also go DH with session.

Trek bikes pale in comparison to Specialized. The SX Trail is head and shoulders above the Session 77.

Trek = hand made in U.S. + lifetime Warranty on frame. Specialized = Made in Taiwan. I believe the trek to be better, 1.5 headset, stout fork and good component group. and mostly i cant see spending that much money on the Specialized since its made over seas.
