GT IT1, freshly built up.  Just need to get a new grip to cut down for the shifter side of the bars.

I'm so jealous. Is that an Aztec front rotor? Does it give a noticeable increase in performance?

Yes it is as the hub is essentially flipped putting the driveside where the brake would be on a standard bike.

than why is the chainring on the right side?

It's a gearbox bike - the Chainring drives the gearbox on one side, then on the other side the gearbox drives the rear wheel. The gearbox itself is a modified Shimano Nexus hub fitted in the frame.
