this is a ok pod, im noit trying to be rude but there are way more deeserving pics
i agree this dosent deserve pod at all, it would be different if you could see the rider, and nice scenery just epic but i think this is a bit crap

Right well im sorry you guys dont like the picture, when i posted it i wasnt trying to get POD or anything, i dont really feel that it deserves POD but it was quite a nice picture so worth posting. Its a shame all you guys can do is whine about it. I agree its not a very good POD but have some consideration for the fact that I didnt choose it.
Yeah I hear you I don't like it for POD but if people don't like it stfu and wait for tomorrow's and maybe it will be better. It's not like he came on every day waiting for this picture to become POD. Who knows one day your picture will be POD and if everyone thinks that it's shit I can't wait till you take the critisism.
You say styling is maditory? So all the pictures of the downhiller's railing a berm at highspeed with a mint crystal clear shot isn't good because they aren't "styling it". Think before you speak.
I agree its not that good of a POD, but its still a pic worth looking at and posting it as well. Congrats on POD. It just ticks me off that all people do is complain about things. There has NEVER been a POD that everyone loves. Just stop the complaining. man.

it would be an awesome pic if it there were no clouds and was in focus, but its not and i dont really think it should be pod.. the chair does add a little something too it though
even that BMX one was better a couple days ago, this just isnt POD material, the rider isnt even in that good of focus

I hope that everyone knows that no matter how much you all bitch, this will alway's be August,12th,2007's POD. Doesn't matter how much everyone bitch's on it. Ohhhh maybe ille get some prop's if I say it sucks too....right?...NOT. He doesn't care because he got POD and you didn't ,maybe yours got honorable mention...but they don't give out awards for almost's.
i dont think anyone is trying to offend the guy who took the picture, or the rider. the reason people say its naff is because it is, and hopefully the people who choose these pods will take notice and pick some different better pictures

come on, less of the abuse, its got nothing to do with him, he just posted the pic, like every other person on this websiter posting pics, it was pinkbike who chose it for POD. It is NOT his fault, so dont abuse him.

Nice to see some people can agree with the guy who put this photo up. I'm the guy who took this photo, YES it's not a PERFECT photo is it? I AGREE. HOWEVER, as some of those here with at least half a brain pointed out, Rory & I never put set out for POD, the sweet irony was us joking about getting a POD up only 2 days ago. In our defense this photo was taken in SHIT light conditions, in the mist, when I was cold and at the end of 2 knackering weeks of riding...And well done to those of you who pointed out it's out of focus. I'm not using some expensive SLR camera with a f*ck-off huge lens, I'm using some tiny Sony digicam not designed for this stuff. We took these photos so that we could remember a pretty sick holiday in a cool way, not so that some self-righteous 13 year olds from around the world could abuse them. Now ok, it's not a great POD, thousands of other photos are put on here every day of the year, but it's the one chosen by the admins, and what they've said goes. Frankly there have been MUCH worse photos than this before. Personally I quite liked the way it was taken, if some of you whiny bitches had been there with you're, what must be (I assume), FAR superior photography skills to mine, then maybe we'd have a decent POD on our hands. Thanks to you guys who said they like it!
