there's one thing i like on pinkbike! smart kids from all over the world. the bad side in this case minimum 16 of them don't know words like "sarcasm" and "humor". you have to read books kids!!!

dude you really should check out some bmx videos because pro street riders do stuff like that regularly. These people ride all the time and most of them have done since they were little kids. They have skills, that's how they land this kind of stuff.

I like the way you think a lil piece of plastic & foam will save you from breaking your neck if u bail on this. Full body armor, leat & full face might help you out, but then you won't make the gap with it all on. I think that's more what dagrizz meant. It takes ppl this crazy to push the level of the sport... yes it's stupid do do this without a helmet, no doubt.... but it's pretty stupid just to do it. I say if the guy is crazy enough to do it, let him & his crew worry about the injuries. I'm sure if he can do a trick like this he knows what can go wrong.

What kinda Norco you ride? Bet it's got at least 6 inches front and rear. The first Norco I rode had tuffs, bud. Go put on your helmet and jump a curb.

Jimmy Levan is one of the kings of disgusting gaps. He was even before Van Homan came around. And he crashes less than Van Homan so that tells you something about the level of comfort and control that Levan has on a bike. It's remarkable shit. He obviously has huge nuts too, but it's more calculated than a lot of other people in BMX or freeride mountian biking who just go for huge gaps/drops and end up crashing a lot. He's comfortable at very high speeds on a BMX and he's been riding huge shit like this forever. Still one of the sickest pics I've ever seen though!
