this is just my opinion its probably wrong but whatever: it looks kind of photoshooped. its just the lighting on the rider and the bike looks different from the jump. but anyways its probably real so thats sick
It's totally legit. The reason everyone thinks so many photos are photoshopped is because photographers often use different flash techniques to freeze the motion in biking. The result however is a subject whose lighting doesn't correspond with it's surroundings, and therefore looks as if it was pulled from another image. Just so you know.

i asked lance about this picture and he said it was a cliffhanger filp, he landed with his feet off the pedals but at least he rolled away.

he does not land that!!!! his bike hasnt even rotated, its still at the same degree as the lip. So that is a REALLY early ejection, hes eating it.

Sorry dudes. This is a bail. It is a normal backflip, but he bails out of it. I am sure that Lance can probably go around telling people he tries to pull of a backflip cliffhanger, but if you watch the footy from the session, you will just see that it is a sketchy backflip... and it is not at post office, it is nastys...
