send the shock to avy and have it converted to high-end avy inners. upgrade a couple of parts and keep the bike. those are nice bikes, regardless of what people around here will tell you.

Was not my idea for the tape on the breaks. Lent it to a friend for a week to test it out and he put it on there for no apparent reason...

figured i would suggest the shock upgrade. seems a lot of positive comments about it out there. and a cheap way to make a good bike great, instead of upgrading all together.
