nice backround..
brad, its a roll in you arent supposed to get air, and believe me after you bring your bike to the top of that roll in and look down it its insane, i basically looks like the jaw drop i mean you are looking down a 60 foot roll in that goes vertical for 15 ft. i only did it on the last day of my trip there i didnt want to fall and get f*cked...
thats true, air on that would be redic man the discription says knoa huck, is it a stinky or a huck?
still, its sick
still, its sick
see sequence 4. full on wheely huck. his kona went clunk for sure!haha (as my description says "kona Huck")! it can be dropped or rolled and as some other people have commented it is fairly easy - just point, hang on and enjoy the ride. it does look hella scary at the top, the roll in is quite something!
that a reall nice picture
would be alot better if he was doing more..
but its still a really good picture

dbox if there was such a thing as "all balls and no skill" people would be getting killed a lot more often in our sport. There's always an element of skill involved. Anyway I think this roll in/drop would be much bigger in real life than it seems in photos. Plus, I'm not being funny but this is a nice pic, you have no riding pics, perhaps you're not in a position to criticize.
Seriously, its a nice looking picture, all i said was you dont have to be steve peat to ride that drop, the guys riding a kona, he has 8inches travel front and back, if youve got the balls to roll into it the bike is going to do all the work!!! my little brother could ride that.
well then, by decree of dbox123, henceforth there willl be no pics chosen that said dbox123's little brother could ride, so as not to offend the vererable dbox123. the pics chosen shall conform to the amplitude level of dbox123's preference or they shall face the harsh critisism of the masterful dbox123. with the leadership skills shown by the mighty dbox123 we can look forward to a new era of pod that shall not offend the hardcore dbox123, cause its all about what he thinks. f*cking typewriter jocky. get a life.
i know. its really annoying. same on southerndownhill. dbox does have a good point but its not all about the quality or gnarlyness of the riding
This is an awesome picture but doesnt really capture just how scary this thing is. Anybody whose seen or ridden filthy ape in real life knows that takes a serious amount of balls and some decent skills to ride, It is probably one of the scariest things on whistler mountain in my opinion. the only picture ive found which captures the true feeling of it is this one which was POD a few weeks back. Check out this angle of the same thing. http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1483062/
that pic is a little tilted for sure. this is an accurate representation of the steepness - http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1529885/

nice shot like the mountains in the back,i don't like how small the rider is in my opinion and this angle makes that stunt look way easier then it is
you dont think it's POD-worthy? is that because your head is too far up your ass to see the picture?
Good shot. That roll has a serious nuts factor because from the top, you can't see the bottom and that drop is lurking in there somewhere holdin' some Gs for ya...
thats a good ride, but u gotta drop that bottom section so it shoots u right down bear cub.
Nice Pod though.
Nice Pod though.
oh he's dropping. see sequence 4. full on wheely huck. his kona went clunk for sure!haha (as my description says "kona Huck")! it can be dropped or rolled and as some other people have commented it is fairly easy - just point and shoot. All you need is skill and confidence in yourself.

great pic mate... my teacher gave me a detention for looking at this.. well i was supost to be doing work but i couldent resist
Way to ride down a mildly steep slope. Making a sequence out of it doesn't make it any more interesting.

It just doesnt look hard anymore. anyone can hit it with that huge landing that they built but i guess it had to be done for peeps to not hurt themselves and break their bikes thats whistler steez eh.
thats shouldnt be considered a "huck" becuase he rolled it, got about .5 seconds of air *with his front tire* then landed
