POD! Sick pic, sooo sharp and dynamic.
this should be on the cover of a kona magizine such a sick shot...soooooooooooo clear and pretty intense
poor designing frames....hahahaha you know so little. Kona have a bad rep because they build reliable bikes that are cheaper than anyone elses and half the price to maintain. I guess it must be hard to accept If when you ride a 3K bike and it breaks every weekend, and a cheap ass kona still trundles along happily.
Yeah I hate having an un-trendy kona, I hate never actually having to work on the bike, I hate running it through English mudbaths year after year and not having to replace any bearings/bushes anywhere.

I don't like Kona because a) I'm a smaller rider, and their geometry feels awkward for me; b) Every Kona rider I know who actually rides it has a problem every weekend, and end up walking home; and c) Every 10-13 year old kid in my area has a Kona, but won't actually ride it.

Lemme get this straight! those here are bashin on a Kona because its a Kona, a popular bike? I owned a stinky delux couple years back and my riding skill tripled! They have a Great bike and on the right person perform just as well as just about any other bike out there, I can list off 5 other high end brands that end up in the shop just as damn often after a ride as the example used.. look at the size and riding style of the rider idiots!
Kona makes an all around great bike for a great price, of course you see alot of young'ns on em cause they are cheap and its a good way to get more peeps into the mountain bike seen with some decent quality!

and yet my friend rides a kona, has had his stinky for like 3 years. he beats the living crap out of it and it's still going strong. all he breaks are derailleurs.
konas are crap because their geometry hasn't been thought about enough which means they corner crap. such as the bottom bracket is way to high.
I ride a Kona and it is very reliable.

The only problems I have had with my Kona are the parts that aren't even made by kona. One minute people are talking about bad frame design and next they are saying about failing parts. Well considering Kona dont put bikes together that are solely made up of Kona parts leads me to think where the argument is coming from. The parts that are breaking aren't even made by Kona half of the time. They are just attached to one, and suddenly it means Kona sucks. I dont understand it.
hes not actually riding..his fork isnt compressed at all..neither is his rear suspension. he is just leaning on this foot and there would be dirt and stone flying in the air
there is a dust trail behind his rear tire and some disturbance behind his front, i'm pretty sure he's riding.

it kind of does look like hes just posed there. just the way there is no dust or any gravel being thrown from his tires and neither wheel has any blur. its still sick but that just what i thought!

I rode a Kona for 3 seasons just the 2005 Stinky base model. I broke a deraliuer and a shifter. NEVER anything else I loved that bike I beat it to hell and it kept ticking and ticking and ticking I would buy another in a second. I have owned a Santacruz VP free for a 2 months now and I think it has a second home in the shop.

It looks fake. nno dirt on the treds his foot is on the ground and no dirt is in the air from the tire in the back.
i dont get why people hate konas, a bike is bike, ride it, live it, love it....a bike is a bike, kona may not have the same grade stuff brands like Morewood would put out, kona frames will outlast most components, i kno from experience, and as years go by, they put out more stuff that bigger companies, so if you dont like kona, whatever, but quite your bitchen.....
