lol thats crazy ive never seen that before.... it took me a while to see what was going on and at first i was kinda pissed that this was POD untill i read the comments to figure out what happened (im a little slow)
if the frame has vertical dropouts either the skewer, or dropout could have snapped. If he has horizontal dropouts the wheel could have just been yanked out of the dropout (hopefully). its weird cuz ive always wondered if it was possible to case so bad that your wheel comes off.. great POD!

first I didn't see that the wheel was gone. I thought the bike was very compressed or something, but when I started to see where he was mid air I thought it looked strange and didn't understand how he managed to clear it, but I found out he didn't anyway
I feel sorry for your bike mate. This was sick!

Think he landed a bit short >_> the wheel is like under the landingthingy, and it kinda looks like hes backwheel wont make it to the landing in that second frame off him in the air..
But still great and quite original picture

you do know it could be a fake, and it wouldn't be that are to do. just do the jump once and make it, while taking the first 3 shots, then after get two pictures of were the guy is just sitting their without the tire on, then just do what you usually do for an action shot.
It is PHOTO SHOPPED LOOK WERE HE IS SITTING DOWN ON THE LANDING you cann see that those trees are all blureed and then the cutting lines... It took me awhile to find that
is it really photo shopped? i just thought that they took a picture of 5 people while 2 of them lost their weels! thank you very much for telling us that point243racer!
yea he would deffinatly go over the bars if he cased it that bad. there's no way he would just be chilling in the same position after his tire came off.
Why bother faking it? Not sure but it looks like the wheel is lying just at the end of the landing on its side by the posts. Anyway it's dope!

I wonder what happened with rear derailleur after the wheel was gone...
Worth POD for the thing happening, quality doesn't really matter this time.

Look at the landing ramp to the right, right under the image of the rider in the air. It looks like a wheel laying there. Look at the image of the rider on the landing ramp. The shadow under the bike runs right up to the broken rear dropout. Kinda looks real to me.

I think the last two frames caught an image of the wheel sitting on the ground at the start of the landing, he probably came up a tiny bit short and the wheel stayed on the uphill side of the tranny....imagine the sound that landing made? Crunnnnnch.

I FOUND THE WHEEL! it is behind the landing and it is sideways!and it fell of because when he cased it the wheel broke off to all those who think it fell off in the air!

Awesome picture on a Transition demo day. How did you find this picture? It is from PeeWee's bike park in Lincolnton, NC. This jump does not look that big from this angle but from the top it is huge. They keep it chained up and blocked off so weekend warriors cannot get hurt on it. It is a pretty scketch jump to clear. It requires max speed because of the terrain and platform. Out of the few people that have hit it only a couple guys have landed safely, one guy even on a hardtail.
he has ahelmet on dumb shit! and tranny what kind of name is that, you cant figure out if you want a dick or a vag more huh!!!
he has a helmet on you dumbass......anyways that sucks dude nice gap tho pretty big. to bad the pic wasnt a bit clearer

Oh my god! There goes 500 Bucks!!! AAAH SHITT!!! f*ck! I feel sorry for this guy, my gut dropped thinking of how much he's gonna need to fix er up!
if you look you can see the wheel on its side right neer the begining of the landingm, about half way down the posts that hold it up
hey alright pod not that great but i no it doesnt matter about the ridding but thats a bit of a pussy jump
why would you down prop me its true just look at the sequence where hes sittin on his bike on the landin
yes its been chopped, but only to put it in sequence. the wheel coming off has not been photoshopped.
HOLY CRAP DUDE , HE MUST HAVE CASED THAT HARD FOR THE WHEEL TO COME OFF LIKE THAT , HES LUCKY THE BIKE WAS ABLE TO STAY UP , NOT BAD PIC , COULD BE BETTER QUALITY
lol it took me so long to realise the wheel was gone i was like wtf? lol pretty funny though
looks like a big hit(not the bike bighit, but the jump)

Wow! Shit dude! but: Wtf, Is your frame f*cked up, or was it just the qr? Anyway, this picture was sick, and Pod for sure.
[Reply]
Exactly..... Who here on this site has ever seen someone going that speed in order to clear that gap and drop not get bucked or fall off there bike exspecially when the rear wheel comes off.... Its seems a little fishy
hahah took me a min to figure it out but his back wheel isnt even on haha
but big gap props for hitting it man
but big gap props for hitting it man
All you kids that are saying the wheel fell off in the air- why don't you take a look at the third frame, right before he lands. You can see that the wheel is still on there. Look before you post, guys.
I had that happen to a buddy of mine cept it was my borrowed bike and the front wheel fell off. He was lucky just had a couple of bruises.

ITS TOTALLY EDITED HAHA. CANT YOU GUYS SEE?!?! Look at the tip on the landing. You can see a line going up the screen. He just cut it out and took the wheel and took the pictures with the wheel off and stuff and put it together. Its horrible quality. Half the picture is decent and the other half is blurry. lame.

THIS IS NOT A PHOTOSHOP. This at Peewees in North Carolina. I know the rider and about a dozen other people that were there that day. It's 100% legit. The wheel came out. THAT"S IT. Every part was fine except the hanger. Pretty amazing really. I'm dead serious here.
it took me a wile to see that the wheel came of and then i was like "o shit dude!!" and then graham was all like "woh dude!' and then he inspected his blackmarket frame, bro

for the people who ask is the wheel still on in the air you can clearly see the top half of it if you look close enough the bottum half is blerd though and is this a fake photo? well i dont think it is but yet you cant see the rear wheel on the ground but if it is a photo shop job explain the dirt flying up from him trying to slow down with his feet oh and the people who say his axle snapped well it probably did somthing else had to of snapped for the hole wheel to come off because the chain would still cling onto it and its pretty hard to brake a chain so my guess is the derailer or the teath on the sprocket broke as well. When solving problems like so you have to use your inner detective and watch a lot of law an order anyways its a nice picture
[Reply]
thats pretty hard to make rear wheel fall off especially as you got rear mech and shit to hold it there just in case lol
hey thats at peewees iv been there its an hour away where i live and when you look at it in real life it huge~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The wheel came out while he was in the air... you can see it before the reception in the air already of the bike.
