The Fox 40 is less than .5 pounds lighter. I could have bought a 40, and than replaced it a year later after it wore out.

nah u should switch it out for a boxxer world cup, i used to have a dorado and they dont feel the greatest, plus the boxxer world cup is smooth and buttery and the red stickers and white paint coat would go great with the red and white frame. just a suggestion. otherwise i used to hate devinci but this makes me want one now

That was the only fork I thought about. I'm a big kid so I don't know if they'll hold up. Need some cash but we'll see, the Boxxers may end up on it.

If you don't have problems with a Dorado then a 40 will cause even less problems. Do you think a Boxxer will outlast a 40? Every fork needs maintenance but I shouldn't be telling a guy with a Dorado that.

To be honest I don't like 40's, and after talking to buddies at the lbs I don't like Boxxers anymore either. I did the twist test with Boxxers and they flex almost as much as the Dorados. For a cost basis, there's a lot I could do to the weight for a lot less than a fork, and I don't think spending $1500+ on something that may feel slightly better is worth it. Don't know how much maintenance a 40 entails, I've heard Boxxer WC's need to be rebuilt every 25-30 hours which is what I do with the Dorado anyways. I'll stick with it until it breaks or I can't get anything more for it.
