This picture can be summed up in one word. f*cked. Except watch out for the steertube on the way down.
I dont know if you remember the 1in quill type stems that much, but this was a plague with that stem/fork idea. My buddy did the same thing on the last straight at our bmx track when he was running 1in threaded. Shits scary. Well atleast the forks stay on and not take off also.
If he can get his front tire down in time but I don't think someone can pull a no hander lander the way he's set up.

With the quill stem, the forks are threaded and attached to the steer tube via the headset not the stem as they are with 'threadless' headsets most of us ride now. That fork will not come off, not that it makes much difference for this particular landing!

Ride what you've got. You know that these kids found a way to re-attach the stem and continued to ride till it was too late to see the lip of the jump any more. Somethings are universal. It is about the ride, and who we ride with!
Yea who cares about the ride you have or what u look like. Your riding your bike the way you want to and how you know how. Just because u cant afford a non-threaded headset doesnt mean your not going to be pro one day. Keep at it and this might be your trick when your older. Being able to pull your bars off and then throw them backo n before you die.
