This pic would be cool if we hadn't seen anything like it before, but we've all seen the Red Bull Gold Mine thing, so it doesn't really appeal to me as unique.
it would be cool if he was emerging from it so it looked like it was blowing up and he was out ridding the exsplosion

ok then, tell me the strengths of this photo, we can see the rider, we cant see the bike, theres no real action to it apart from the fact hes going down a mine/tunnel and theres some smoke.

its not even a high quality picture either, the resolution is poor and the lighting is pretty shit (even for being in a mine)

why do people criticise the picture, yes, i agree it has slightly bad lighting, so, its in a mine, its going to effect it, and the guy who posted the picture didnt make this picture pod,

Its a cool picture, and has potential for POD on maybe some photography website..
But for a biking site..

No matter how you look at it thats sick. Definitly a place where most people have never taken a bike and cool composition as well. The light plays off the walls well and being able to see the lights farther down the tunnel in the black adds to the mystery of whats ahead. Great shot and congratz on POD
