incredible ride but don't like it.
Yop, incredible, but to motorcycle-likely... Don't like it, but respect to constructors for inventing sth like that! Motobike

what a pseudomotocross gay-looking bike, terrible... They should stay in motorbike or car industry :/
i want something with out a rear derailluer, and something that doesn't require a bashgaurd, i hate f*cking up my cranks and BB
Hey its not the preetyest bike but its one of the lightest DH bikes ever built.
And its a good one and u can ask Greg Minaar

i'd take it, but then i would swap the fork and get rid of the ugly gearbox and put a normal crank system. whats even the point of a gear box??
How about never missing a single shift, never breaking a derailleur, and having no chain slap whatsoever? Does that make any sense to you? Oh yeah, and the fork is custom-made for Team Honda DH, it's the most technologically advanced mountain bike fork ever made. It surpasses the Dorado MRD, Boxxer WC, 888 WC, and 40 RC2 in all categories. Please, next time do some research before you run your mouth off.
Can you give us a link for this fork? I don't think it is the most technologically advanced fork. Hype, marketing hype.
i seen a picture ( not sure if it was really or not ) but it was the gearbox opened and its just a derailer in a box pretty much
i duno.. its got a nice frame... im not a fan of the internal gearbox.. i like bikes the way they are... old school

whoever said whats the point of a gear box: it saves weight (some how), you never break a derailleur, you never miss a shift and you can shift any time- pedalling, not pedalling, mid air, mid berm.
im with get-hucked666 I like the old school look,im not into this futureistic round and googlyness,i think this thing is f*cking ugly
nothin googly about it, nuthin but hard, purposeful lines, like a lamborghini reventon, i love the space age look
Nice a$$ ride...it's at least not as ugly as the one posted in another thread that looks like it has a load in it's pants.... I'm all for the current look of a bike as well, but technology has to advance at some point and it's usually ugly at first.....i will take performance over "looking cool" any day
i would be imbarrased to ride that... i would ride the gt spaceship bike over this... but seriously i would take a ss trail over this bike any day. idgaf how futureistic it is its f*cking ugly and stupid looking.
You still have to be moving to change the gear with the honda gear box.....not that it really matters because you allways will be!
And the gearbox is simple really, it uses a standard rear derailure!

wow, so many mature comments on here, you all should be proud of yourselves for achieving such highly sophisticated methods of communication... yes there are better looking bikes, i agree with some of you, but this bike isn't about looks... it's about going down a hill at mach speed!
guys, they didnt make it super stylish cus its designed to haul ass so fast all you see is a blur of silver. man that bike is so nuts.
this frame yes is ugly . but its made to be slick and airodinamic. yes i dont like it but it wins dudes its fast !!!
haha cant belive it was only6 a deraullier in the box haha so simple yet it had evry one thinking it was some magic or something cracks me up
i still dont see the point of a gearbox, im with get get-hucked666 and superhucker, i like chainguides and rear deraileurs. and for the price you could get a top of the range bike for every day of the week
The bike wasn't designed to look pretty. It was designed to go fast. The gearbox has loads of advantages - for instance, you don't use so many mechs, cassettes, chains, etc...

why did they decide to scrap these bikes??? greg rides for santa cruz/ syndicate, but who does matt ride for now?

there is one for sale on e-bay , but it's an early prototype without the gearbox. I wonder how much people are going to pay for that. Think the cheapest way to get one is to go to Greg minnaar's house and steal it , he was allowed to keep 1
it was taken off ebay and returned to honda as it was stolen several years ago and the guy says he found it in the basement when he bought a new house.
