No, no they don't. The use a ripoff of the VPP design, they don't pay the royalties to Outland for the trademarked pivot location. Marins haven't been good since the Quake was a hardtail.

marins quakes are good bikes never had a problem takes anything in its stride. Perfectly good downhill bikes. You msut have down something proper dumb to end up like that

Marin was really cool about everything. They replaced the frame immediately and invited me to ride with shaums march. They were all just as shocked as I was when it broke. It has been an unbelieveable ride since I got the rig back in 06 and has held up to all expectations. I have put the bike throught an insane amount of riding over the last 2 years, nothing it shouldnt have been able to handle, and I believe the break was a fluke. Its been the only one to ever break (at least that has been reported) I doubt anyone else with this bike will ever have a problem like I did.
