It takes skills to even try something like that, to think you can land it. He's not a moron, he's not thinking he might be able to land it. I mean, look at the picture dude. You gonna point your bike off that thing thinking "hmm, I might be able to pull this off"? Nope, the whole time leading into it he's thinking "damn straight I'm gonna stomp this bitch". Although he crashes alot, he has the mindset that he is going to pull it off. You can't ride big if you aren't confident in your skills. The guy is a legend, plain and simple.

Word. Bender made a huge impact on the sport by doing things no one else was doing, or is even doing now. That is how human evolution progresses. It's no different than trying double backflips so why so many haters?
Not only does he huck, he isn't loaded, it's not like he is out there making a 6 figure salary, he is out there for the sport, hell i sit at a desk and i make more anually than him, look at all the other HIGH paid pro ATHLETES in high risk sports, most of them make 7-8 digit, and atleast 6

no im not that dumb to do it because obviously just by looking at it you can see it is not hit able (with landing succesfully) yes i have been there so i have proof but he bails off every thing he does or barely lands it at least i mean any one stupid can go off a cliff but you have to be retarted to think your going to land it as well.
The guys got more balls then everyone posting on this pic put together, and if he wants to go huck himself of the biggest cliff he can find, maybe instead of aclling him a dumbass you should thank him for pushing the progression of the sport. I think the landing for it is no where neer steep enough. And it is better to have a hard landing because when your wheels land, if it is soft, your wheels will just stop rolling and you will get bucked.

Just want add that on skies the world record is some were around 80 meters and then you dont have and suspension but just your knees
its so stupid,bender is acutaly good,you think if he couldnt ride he would just ride a bike cuz he thinks it looks cool then says ill just hit this 40 foot cliff on it? i mean if you watch his segments he lands 90% of his jumps and crashes on the biggest one he hits,in this case 55 feet biggest ever attemped to date and probly it will stay that way inless the same guy who made the record goes for the 100. and if you dont respect him as a rider read steeve o's coment.
