The only criticism I can posibly think of is that surely it would have been more efficient to place the pivot around the gear box rather than the BB, to reduce the unsprung weight and raise the pivot point to help with square edge hits. But I'm sure theres a pretty good internal reason that I cant see stopping that idea working properly, or you guys probably would have done it already.
Absolutly awesome bike, Love the shock and just everything about it really.

The rear shock is better, if it does what it says in MBUK, im so glad more ppl are trying different ideas with our sport!
Man alive, from what I've read this thing sure could light a fire under some other people ass's! Great article in one of the latest Dirt mags that talks about this bike in detail if anyone is looking for more info. Thinking way out side the mtb box!

--reply to irishdhlad coz my reply button isnt working-- this is the 0002. the 0001 had a swingarm on each side where as this has only 1
Sinnerslo, if it's not bend (you mean bent) then it is straight!
Irishlad, this is the 2nd version, you are right! The 0001 is still rocking around.
Cheers.

its sheer genious, i cant wait to see this bad boy at the races, but i did prefure the 0001 as it had double sided drop outs ont rear, which would give a stiffer ride

According to MBUK magazine the back end only flexes 1mm under 500lbs of pressure so i dont think it will be to flexy

i suppose thats the ultimate in customisation. i think its really cool, id definately try and get one if i could.
i think it would look better completely de-stickered.
is that a custom shock on the back? the reservoir is huge!

If I remember right the shock is sprung using a hydrogas (or similar) system, like found in rover metros (just better, haha) So the resiviour actualy contains the spring.
That is so sexy. Looks like the one sided swingarm would be weak but you obviously know what you are doing. This folds up too right? so awesome, even though that shock is ugly i bet its butter. o and polished shinny would look ill.
MODERN ART. The guys who ride these bikes are very fast on them and, as far as ive seen, uber reliable! i got a pic of him slightly sideways at the inners nps, but it was over the off camber bump after the last berm.

Imagine this bike with a lefty fork. Now that would make this bike look even more unique.
It looks light with only "half the swingarm," but the frame appears a bit overengineered- I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I think it's a great thing..... as long as it performs well and doesn't weigh too much.
