hacksaw for the straight back part cut, dremel for the basic outline of the front plate, and a grinder to shave away the front plate to the perfect shape to the bash.

FYI: if you undo those screws on the side there, you will realize that all the cutting you did was somewhat pointless.

not pointless, it's for aesthetics, and so mud doesn't get into the pockets behind it.
