some people don't wear helmets for the same reason some people don't wear them on motorcycles (where the law permits), freedom. it just feels better. and just because you wear a helmet doesn't guarantee you won't get hurt, bike helmets are rated for pretty minor crashes so any real speed crashes or big air crashes, a bike helmet offers very limited protection. you people who scream "wear a helmet, wear a helmet" WEAR A F**KIN HELMET AND GET OFF EVERYONE ELSES BACK. if you're so concerned about the safety of your head than you must wear a moto x helmet, because they offer real protection, bike helmets don't. i'm not saying a bike helmet isn't better than nothing because it is, but it's a personal choice, and each individual will make their own choice and deal with the consequences.

couldn't agree more and I'm one of those people who chooses to wear a helmet but it does feel so much better to not wear one but i think of the consequences of not wearing one and i usually end up in the next 10 seconds with one on my head.

doesnt matter how many "great" points you make,im gona stick with the experts.helmets help protect and save life.crowe explianed to us that they only work in minor accidents but how hard have you crashed crowe,well ive hit my head on trails rock hard and bumpy like wistler, and i got up fine,it was at high speeds,and it sure as hell saved me.

big wow if it feels better without a helmet, i bet wearing a helmet feels a hell of a lot better than having a cracked skull! you can't just say nothing will go wrong because you neer know! i used to be like that but i met people with head injuries and permanent disorders due to not wearing a helmet.

but if you had been wearing a helmet this would be my POD but instead its just going in my favs.
