hey stolik do you know anything about photography? because it is the flash that made this shot pop. if there was no flash the rider would have been dark and possibly blurry. i think it is a great photo. the composition is interesting and the timing of the shooter was great, they found the most interesting part of the action.
No juice the shot didn't need a flash look around at other spots of the pic. The light is coming from behind and right of the photographer, and there is plenty of it.
I don't even think that, that light on the left is a flash cause if you look at the shadows on him they follow the pattern of all the other shadows in the pic. It's probably just a piece of metal.

i think stolik was talking about the flash on the left side of an image and he was right, it shouldn't be visible in the pic.
guys look at the weather, i doubt a flash was even used at all, that's probably just the sun. The sun isn't in the photo, hence it's behind the cameraman.
that's cool to see some flatland stuff being pulled off on a mtb. doesn't look super hard though, but maybe i'll shut up once i try it. pod quality for sure though. chee pono! (that's hawaiian for f*ck yeah. just in case some smart asses want to start talking shit or being wise asses)
