f*ck ME! this is awsum!!
@Northwestbiker: Sure it's photoshopped...to make ONE photo sequence with FIVE shots, how can you do???use photoshop or paint shop pro or corel draw...just think before writting...
Nice shot man!!!!Continue to give us some photos like that one...

That has got to be fake. Some of the front wheel has been cropped when he is in the superman, there's leaves infront of his back tire in mid air and it doesn't look like his forks are compressed on the landing.
Ciaran, as much as you will contentiously get ridiculed for saying that, I think you might be right.
Also, the spokes are visible in all the photos, except for the one in the air. Plus, there is white on his front rim.
Non the less, it was well done, its had a lot of work put into it.Its POD worthy.

It's pretty awesome, but It can be photoshopped. I'm not saying it is but it's very easy to photoshopp this kind of pics. you just shot two sequences, one with a superman-crash and one with a good landing. You just change the 3th picture. I belive it's real so hands down Pod for sure!
Seriously... why is it that everytime someone posts something cool everyone says its photoshopped? Are you guys really that jealous? Maybe yall should go out and ride your bike instead of bash a good thing.
course its photoshopped. Eastwing, obviously youve never worked in photoshop or youd know inserting 1 picture into another is probably the easiest thing to do in photoshop.
Look at the front wheel. Like Ciaran said, no spokes in the front picture, and the white coming out of nowhere. Yeah. thats fake. Negative props as you will.

Photoshopped. The lighting on the rider is obviously coming from his back. His back is lit up, and his chest etc is dark. BUT, the lighting in the background is coming from the right. Look at the moss on the rock, it's lit right up.
Obvious photoshop, but cool anyways. Props on the idea.

You guys also didn't see that the first two shots of him, he is pointed and then goes off in slightly different places. Pinkbike investigation concludes: it be a fake.

I believe this picture is photoshopped. I opened it in my photoshop to have a closer look. and you can not see any spokes in either of the wheels and if you zoom in you can see that there is missing a part on the bottom of the front tire. You can also see some leeves on the rear tire but I cant see any trees there in the real picture.
Nice try though allmost had me fooled

its only photoshopped to produce a sequence shot, the photographer takes a few shots, from a tripod with the rider going from one side to another, the the picture is put on layers in photoshop, and you cut out parts of each layer to produce a sequence shot, which makes the wheel looked cropped in this case. There is no other way of getting a sequence shot witout photoshop.
ok, so if you do a tripod shot, why the heck would you have to crop the wheel? there's plenty of space around the superman shot, you don't have to crop anything.

I'm thinking photoshop....the rider and bike are out of proportion with the surroundings....they look too big. The lighting looks funny too. Cool pic non-the-less.

=O no way. are u kidding me!? its photoshoped?? omg omg. im tryin to stay with you on this one.
lemme get this stright, ur saying that there arnt actualy a set of quintuplets out there that ride w/ the same bike and same cloths and do trains off gaps!?
thats crazy talk

it does seem hard to believe because you need to jump up for a superman, it's why the bike doesnt fall down from underneith the rider, because of the upwards momentum - but who knows, I cant pull them. Cool pic whatever.

check out his other photo's, there are only 2 more in his album and there both photoshoped, by photoshoped I mean fake, and not real. This shows that thats all this guy is doing. Did work tho, well done
photoshop edited definately... no props for the rider, nor for the photograph itself. this is just a poseur of a pic and a fake rider.
ride your bike and don't fake it,

who cares if its photoshop, pod means "pic of the day", hes photoshopped a cool looking sequence and put it in a pic. stink that it is fake but you gotta admit it does look kinda cool.
people saying this is photoshopped... welll duurr! you dont think he has 4 identical twins all ridin identical bikes? he had to 'shop' it, to get them in the same picture sequence!
It is so damn easy to make that picture! You just put the camera on a tripod and do a sequence when he is riding towards the ledge. and then you do a sequence when he is riding on the ground at the landing. And the you take one single picture of him doing a superman on the ground with his arms leaning on the bars. its that simple. You can tell that the superman is on the ground because there are leaves on the rear wheel and he has cropped away a part of the front wheel and also the spokes are missing.
man thats sick! Even it's shopped(i think it isn't, it's just crazy sec pic) it's POD worthy and it's awesome!
The one point people have missed is the shear fact that the rider is doing a drop to flat somewhere in the region of 12ft and he has hardly compressed on the landing! There is also a slight anomoly with the front tire in the mid-air shot; the colours in the picture have definately been enhanced too, not to mention how impossible the trick would be to do.
A nice pic however - we can all dream!

strange strange hum ........ It's a strange way to make a superman and it looks like when i was learning no-footer on the ground ......
Moreover, on the reception, the fork is not compressed at all..... strange strange ...... and a drop as big as this one is very hard with this kind of bike!
Sorry Maxe Ponken but your pic is quiet strange but if it's really so congratulations but ........

he didnt even make the jump i dont think...the sequence either side of the supposed superman are really close then theres a gap at each end of his wheel.
[Reply]
yea only photoshopped cuz he made the sequence, thats is so sick never seen that off such a small drop

you don't have balls...it's photoshopped...a part of the back and front wheel is missing...fake ass...
Hello nice pic. i´m from kalmar and wonder if there ara many good places i Olofström? vi funderar på att åka runt lite med hojjarna om helgena!
Who the f*ck would bother to do all this work anyway? Is not like you become a better biker by faking pic's of your self...
how come the only part of the pic that is up for debate has only one frame in the sequence? the camera was fast enough for the run up and the landing but not the apparent superman?? wierd

No you're a qyeer jf951! Who do you think you are to call me such names!? Norcohucker, I don't like you either! You're gay!
everyone saying its fake because his forks arent compressed enough on the landing: it is fake, but the forks have nothing to do with it. To put into perspective; my forks compress a lot more when i hav both wheels firmly on the ground than when ive just landed a drop, it all depends where your weight is in relation to the bike when you land. the pic is 100% posotivly fake for 2 reasons: a) look at the leaves on the back wheel mid flight and the compressed front tire, also his shoe over the mossy rock, and b) because if you read the posts further up, the guy who owns the picture clarifies that it is fake and he didnt want it to be pod because he wasnt happy the way the picture came out. i think he did ride the drop, his forks didnt compress much because of his position relative to the bike (i hardly compress my forks on drops either), but he didnt superman it, he just took that sequence shot with his wheels on the ground and his body in superman position. im sure the owner will clarify this if he can be arsed, so read his post and staop arguing whether its fake or not.
f*ck !! you are right about the pic but i am sorry it's physic !! when youland your fotk compresses ! what could the job of the fork if it doesn't compress on a landing ?????
You better not let your mother catch you talking shit on here man, you and your poseur friends wont be able to use her computer.
[Reply]
LOD fur sure hahaha...... someone need to get better photoshop skills to fool peeps on here... just look how unatural his body is in all the shots... the only real shot is the first man in the sequence when he is riding up.... very easy to tell... laugh of the day is a good one
i dont thhink photoshoped images shold be pod because thre not actuly good riding i think there should be psod(photo shop of the day )LOL

Suppose photoshoping is like sampling music, you take something that you feel lacks a little, but has potential, and cut and paste the hell out of it to make something more to your taste. Sure this is fake, but at first glance, it's kinda cool.
[Reply]
its photoshopped, the first picture has half a front wheel for god sake. can you not spot it instantly? and when he's in the sir theres a leave infront of the back tyre when theres no tree near the wheel
[Reply]
upon second inspection it does looks somewhat not real for the reasons priveviously stated and because of the shape of the wheel in the 3rd frame....
Def photoshopped, be cool if he could do it though.
half of front wheel is missing in first frame, then on the superman bit his front wheel looks wrong. the ride out could be real!!!

Hhaha, he had the picture taken on the ground, jumping in the super man pose. Take a look at his arms, they look like they are supporting the weight of his torso. I'm no physics expert but last time I got that top heavy off a drop I crashed, and the fork is not compressed on the landing. "BUNKEY0207", there are two wheels on a bicycle, Bi= 2. The geometry of the frame transfers force to the fork / front wheel, to avoid catastrophic failure and rider injury. They probably put this picture up for an example of "How not to photoshop a picture". E for effort, P for poser.
seriously, thank you because "BUNKEY0207" doesn't seem to undestand how a bike works.
HAVE A GOOD RIDE
HAVE A GOOD RIDE
photo shop at the speed hes moving at the top there is no way he would land that far out and also the top and bottom pics are squished but thers only one in the air. check out his hands as hes at the lip theer on the brakes hard nice try
Yes, I hate saying this but it deffinitely is photoshoped. Why does every frame have spokes, but the mid are air one? And at the frame rate that it looks like the camera was going, there would have had to been more mid air frames to make it real. But even if it is photoshoped, who cares, it looks awsome!
i would agree with coca "if it is photoshopped, who cares, it looks awesome, if it wasn't pod. pod is PICTURE OF THE DAY not FAKE OF THE DAY. cool picture it just shouldn't be pod.
ok its been covered...it's a photoshopped sequence.. that was faked, with the owner admitting it. No more detective work needed.
[Reply]
Its photoshopped!! just watch his tire in mid air and the fork at the landing, + that would be f--king hard to do!!!

super nice photo, its not like its a hard trick or anything, but the scenery and the fact you tried it off something with basically no landing makes it great.

look at the first two instances of the rider and where the front wheel intersects with the rear wheel, see anything missing?
wow Keit you made apoint there.Maybe he just didnt have a multi shot camera, so he just got him to do the drop a few times and put all the pictures together. or maybe not, because i dont see any compression on the forks
i have noticd that when people land supermans they are nerly always leaning over the bars espesly when ther doing it fast
Nope, that´s not photoshopped. Look at the Space between his arms: It´s different in every phase of his jump. And he would´ve had to do a superman while standing still...
Props for using a hardtail, you definately got balls! Or no brain, which is the same thing, frankly. There´s no need for a brain while shredding in the woods!

It looks like he took a picture of a superman on the ground, then photoshopped it into this picture. Look at his arms, they make it look like he's supermaning on the ground, and his front tire, it looks like it has alot of presure on it.
Regardless if its fake or not, its a cool idea to try atleast, I cant stand people ripping on other peoples pics and then when i look at their pics they are straight amatures, until you can outride someone in the POD just enjoy the fact that we all ride and stop being a poser
ok its established that its photoshopped, as it was said above, you detectives can hang up your trench coats, nobody else needs to be informed of it
look at his shoe against the moss, and the rear rim in the superman shot. its not smooth and was drawn in. i admit its pretty cool, but thats definetly photoshop. no doubt.
"THE REAL-ACE-MAN"
Some one shoot him, dam annoying
he makes fun of the pod everyday, just another one of those gayy pink bike critics

would you all just shut up about photoshopping, and appreciate the picture.
who cares if it is photoshopped, it obviously is to get the seqence but it doesnt matter just shut up

first of all cool pics ,but just look at the front tire wen hes in mid aid its flat ,and the 2 fisrt pics or not inline in front of each other dont need to be a brain to see that ,and in the first pics you cant see all of the front tire ,almost great photoshop work.
[Reply]
Im not usually one to call photoshop, but look at the tires in the superman frame, you can see where he cut them. In every picture you can see the spokes, except the superman frame, there are no spokes which mean he photoshopped it.
yep gotta agree with chomers, and the tires look like they have been touched up aswell.
nice photo but why to flat and why photoshop it.

this is for all you saying its photoshopped:
for f*ck sake Ive already told everyone that its photoshopped can you please read the other comments before you post something the whole world knows.
the next person who says its photoshopped I swear im gonna find out were you live and I gonna go there and kick your but

PHOTOSHOP
I wrote photoshop, now come and find me.
I think this picture is really good even though its photoshopped. it looks cool. And its actually hard to tell at the first look that its fake.
im not sayin its real or not, but it was mentiond about how can you get a sequence in a picture ,, well newsflash dummass, alot of the highend digital cameras can do that. and o dont mean the 4 or 500dollar ones either,, the REAL highend stuff.
and ATOMEG, i do agree with you it seems the spokes arent visible on shot 1 and 3 but the rest, they are. could be cuz its fake, could just be the coulr of them vs th esun/reflection i dont know.
either way its a cool looking shot.
