weeeeird
might be weird but the rear suspension design is acually pretty good lookin if you go to there website.... minus it sticking out where it can get slammed by rocks
i see ware people are comming from about it been ugly, but its not to bad, it looks fast if it was in the right hands
since when does looks make a bike capable of going fast? This isn't boy scouts match box car racing now is it.
pretty low bottom bracket, not as heavy... hmm... maybe if you took your head out of your ass and stopped critiquing everything we wouldnt have such an issue here, eh?
Probably because of the chrome and the yellow color. They should have coated that frame in white, keep the yellow stickers on it, and it'd probably wouldn't get all those bad critisms. That bike actually looks fine when pictures in white, and it also looks really light.

That bike's been around for a few years now actually. I'm surprised they haven't really changed their design.
that bike looks kick-ass
but the chrome gives it a cheap look,
should definitely consider a different color

You're all about looks here people. Go to a dirt jumping website and look at all the flashy colours and crazy kiddy crap that only 12 year olds can get into.
Phuck what it "looks like" I bet it rides good... when was the last time you guys rode something "fresh"/different? Think outside the box... till someone has a real ride opion... STFU !!!! n go ride your own bike, that prolly doesn't look this good or go this fast...
Let me explain it to you, ignorants: The world does not revolve around V10's, M6's, and such fancy-loads of money put into marketing-overpayed rider bikes. I have the honor to personally know Mr. Ancillotti and he deserves all the fame and glory in the DH w/c racing. He is the inventor of the Pull-shock in bike industry, as well as MX racing champion in the 1970's with some invetions still being used today.
His bikes are present at allmost every WC DH race for many years, and that proves that the bike is fast, very fast if in the right hands! The problem is that Ancillotti can not afford to pay a pro rider like Steve Peat or somebody of the top 10 world riders to ride for him. That's why he may be unknown. He produces only about 100 bikes per year and most of them are custom built respecting the specifications of riders (and by riders I mean everybody not only WC riders) - NOW HOW MANY OF YOU WANNABE CHAMPIONS HAVE A BIKE CUSTOM BUILT ONLY FOR YOU?
@ auzzy-man: yeah Giant (Team dh)and many others copied his design
@ khoolhandz: he did not change the design 'cos there's no need to change things that WORK! He acctually did try to change the frame design but it didn't workout (it was ugly)
@ ridenow: the chainguide is Lexan made by Ancillotti as well as rear shock absorber
@ all those who are not satisfied with colour: Ancillotti can and will paint the bike in almost any colour you want!
Agree with t3h1337r!
So please inform yoursef and think about it before saying things like "...it's ugly...walmart bike..."

I just wanted to explain a bit of the background of the Ancillotti bikes. Sure someone may not like the way it looks (there's nothing wrong with that), but the fact is that tis bike is competitive and winning races.
sure , I just saying that I dont like how it looks but never say that is not good or slow bike or nothing like that , really looks light and fast and competitive for sure I just dont like the desing but its just my opinion .I saw many videos that apears Wyn Masters from NZ riding it and he looks fast good riding on it
