Is it possible to change the link plates to a '05 Stinky's, and the shock to a DHX 5.0?
Probably I would also have to change a part of the frame...the U shaped part..sorry but I dont know how its called in english..it connects the linkplate to the dropouts...
I'm thinking of building a singlespeed freeride bike Big Grin

I would use it with a 170mm '05 66 VF..
Anybody tried it?
Am i crazy?

u can single speed a stock stinky ....just will have to use a chain tensionor

Its a personal preference, alot of riders have there lever on that size, like lance mcdermott, athertons, and others. And if you are just talking about the cable itself, it becasue its extra long for bar spins and tailwhip, and right now its just wound up once.
