i'm pretty sure the dorado is a great fork, k2dan. It was great even before it was cancelled for the travis. I don't know what improvements manitou has made to the fork, but i know that no company would reintroduce an old idea without making it stand out above others.

covarik is not so tallSmile he was here at redbull metro ride and i spoke to him and he was about 180cm tall...im 2m.this bike is amazing! love to see inverted forks comming back,i think its a good technology,and they made 200mm dorados before..the mrd x-works bigger series.peace
