Do those frames still feel like a hardtail. Cause im thinking of changing my frame to one of those but i dont want to lose the "hardtail feel".

yea for sure i'm about 5'10 myself and it works great for me! i've seen people over 6 feet ride them, regular for transition is like a medium for any other dj bike.

i've done some black diamond trails (shore) and it work fairly well. But i did ride with the small block 8's, so if you changed the tires to a bigger and more agressive tread it should ride nicely.
