if you actually read the article you would have noticed this

"The first thing you notice about the Idylle Pro is that it's a pressurized fork, thanks to the separate reservoir. It uses the same technology as the rear shock, and is obviously similar to the famous Mitsubishi WRC factory shock."

the piggy bag reservoir the will have the same damping as the rear shock

no its not, the disc brakes stick out more than the reservoir. Its behind one of the lowers so its protected.

i wonder why they didnt put it above the top crown like in MX bikes. Near the top of the fork.

they can, you can purchase a few different brands of sub-tanks for MX forks.. makes them alot plusher and way more bottoming resistance

Yeah you can add subtanks to them that connect to the top and mount behind the front number plate.

Ya i think the reservior is gonna get abused because its on the exterior. They should come up with a one inside
