I don't only use this at home. I got a friend whose a professional computer techie, and a MTB tech. addict. He sees a new frame he orders it... He gave me a Laptop free, and keeps it running tip-top, and in return I give him at home Bike Mech. service.
Hence Why I chose it for compact/transportabillity.
too expensive, to hard to obtain, craftsman holds up fine, and for replacement, take it to the local sears, snap-ons have to be shipped in... Just a few reasons.
That's funny, just like up untill recently, Scott USA bikes weren't avail. in the USA. I found that to be pretty dumb.
Over here, Snap-ons are only worth it if you own a big service center, and have the snap-on dealer make a weekly or monthly stop with his big ol' truck full of goodies(same goes for MAC), for warrenty replacements, and show you the new stuff.
That is rediculous about scott! There is a snap on store about 80 miles away from me so its not too far, but mainly i get tools 2nd hand from things like car boot sales- amazing deals for indestructable tools! only problem ive ever had was from a ratchet, but i greased it and it was back to normal in seconds. Like you, i only buy the best tools, and i am only 15 but there going to last me a life time, my whole workshop has park tool hanging everywhere! My tools are probably worth more than my bike
