you no what u should do is cut the seat post tube so that it is flush with the top tub, i did it to my bmx frame, i then ground it smooth and then sanded it, and made a hinging seatpost clamp to put on the lower part of the seat post tube. You do have to put a notch in the seatpost tube though to have a point where it can clamp. it looks really sweet though, and i can slam my seat soo low. it looks sweet and its really original. plus it reduces the weight of the frame with no more structual weekness

And how many bikes have ya built ? the angle of the seat post is pretty severe and i need as much surface area as possible to distribute the weight of the rider as much as possible.
You should check out my photo gallery cause this isnt my first bar-b-que Bro but thanks for the idea anyway . Oh and the bb is 69mm english superlight
