Yeah I was looking at that, looks like a heat-sink; radiator style... I fail to see how how the water is pumped though...

i have no idea, these even existed that is bad ass. Probably though the spinning of the rotor some type of oblong pressure activated pump. i'm sure shimano thought of it.

There is water in it, the water stays in the radiator thing and the brake oil will run in tubes through the water to keep it cool. unless your doing alpine runs with the brakes on full i don't think thats really worth the hassle.

I would love that brake though! i'd swap my liver for a set.

Shitmano made something similar a few years back , and when they let the pros have a go at er , they actually had to oil down the pads because it was just too much power . Cool concept but impractical for MTB

it has two on the out side like normal and one inbertween the discs?

i think that that little black thing is a brake acuator (booster), which takes the hydraulic fluid and pumps it out extremely fast giving more breaking power. similar idea to a supercharger on a car.
