i also just noticed there is some sort of a guideline on it... im sure that helps a bit, but still freaking nuts.
Grear picture, and fat props for the rider for the skills and his big balls that made him roll over that damn tree ;] .... Tasty POD !!!

i can understand why people think its photoshopped. the only reason why it may look photoshopped is because the photographer has used a external flash and also the lines around the rider and tree but thats happened when the picture has been made smaller. but anyway, really nice photo and definately deserves pod
ha whoever says its photoshopped is a retard ITS REAL WATCH THE VID http://www.pinkbike.com/video/13944/

okay, for all the haters and those claiming fake, the reason it looks that way is that it's a self-portrait and the focus is off. You can clearly see in the foreground that the focus is on the leaves/branches/waterfall. It's shot at f/3.2 because it's so dark in there and I wanted to freeze the motion at 1/160s, which lends to out of focus areas. I forgot to switch the camera to manual focus, and before the intervalometer on the camera released the shutter, it refocused on whatever it wanted to. The log is about 2' in diameter and 120' long, entirely natural, and maybe 35-40' high. Found it when looking for a house to buy one day last year. It's not hard to ride if you can go in a straight line, you just can't fall off. There are other pics of this, but they look even more fake, I guess just because your mind doesn't want to believe it.
2 feet wide or not, i wouldn't do it...not even if it was flattened off with a chainsaw. mad props dude, flex those N.C. roots.
ah sick when i can finally afford enough gas 2 get up to bh i gotta find those trails and try this shit out

that is definetly f uckin real man... nobody would go to all that work to photoshop something that insane just to get pod... too disrespectful nice pic though... sick as hell
Sick Brad. The video is even more badass. Props from Boonetown. When can we get a copy of the video?
NOT PHOTOSHOP...... all you people have nothing better to do other than complain about EVERY POD saying that its photoshopped. if its photoshopped you can tell. and this isnt.
its a huge tree not a skinny bridge there should be a center lane on that sucker c'mon we've seen better skill cool helmet and armour
It may not be the narrowest, most technical bit of riding we've ever seen, but the fact that if you were to hesitate or slip even slightly you'd be guaranteed serious injury or worse...its a LONG way down. Huge props to the rider, that took some big nuts.
Epic shot. takes some balls to do that, and to everyone who thinks its photoshopped its not, watch the video of it, cant some people just accept that there are some really good riders around! NICE.
It's a sick picture. I think it has already had POD before but I cant remember. Anyhow its still an awesome pic, and I would vote it for POD over and over again.
whatsup with ppl and photoshop ? cant anybody just say nice pic and get on with their lives. And why think this is photoshoped ? is it that nobody thinks any one has the balls to do that or something ?
Nice pic by the way. Quite a epic shot !

EVERY1 TOLD ME TO WATCH THE VIDEO I WATCHED IT AND I NEVER SAW IT ITS A FAKE PICTURE LOOK AT THE TREE HE IS RIDING ACROSS ITS SO MUCH BRIGHTER THAN ALL THE REST FAKE !
It looks like they set up a light in the trees to the right of the rider, you can see it in the trees and down below on the foliage to pop the rider and the log. I could be wrong, but it sure looks like a lit rider and stunt

I think its photo shopped if you look at the clarity of the rest of the picture compared to the rider its a bit off i could be wrong though.
Can i ask why commenter's change their original comment to make replys look stupid?
If you've said something stupid, please keep it and take it like a man. Especially you SPEC777, you said it was photoshopped, and now what?
Sorry to change the subject guys but its really a problem that often makes me look like an idiot...
