Mn that bike...is juste awesome. You selling it?

Nah man, I've decided against it for now. I'm just going to get some new rims instead, and maybe some Totems when I have more cash.

Wouldn't Totems throw the bike's head angle to a bit too steep position? Well that's easy to check out by comparing axle-to-crown lenghts on 888s and Totems.

Totems 180mm 565mm
888 200mm (2005) 605mm

I dont think a steeper head angle would bother me to be honest.

I do understand it would make the bike a bit more twitchy on steeper, DH type stuff but a lot more manouverable and responsive on tighter stuff. It would also bring x-ups and stuff into the mix.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

Isn't 40mm quite a lot? I think you should check out other Demo 8s with Totems and try to get some comments about handling.

It's just a pipe-dream for now anyway, if I was to change my forks it wouldnt be until nearer the end of the year so plenty of time to find out if Totems would be suitable... by which time I might even want a new bike!

you should get dt swiss 5.1 wheels on hope hubs and that would look pimp and try and get totems and your bike would be the dogs bollocks
