i don't think a push style bearing is the best idea in an aluminum frame. a steel bmx frame is fine, this is different.

And why would that be? Most pivot bearings are press-fitted in aluminium and it works fine.

same concept as a spannish or mid really. always wonderd why mtbs were still using euro type bbs, which are crap. external bbs are ok but having the bearing in the frame makes more sense i think

This a far better idea than external bearings, which are basically a retrofit left over from when square taper was the norm.
