How does that suspension work? Wouldn't it be putting more strain on it in that position?

I wouldn't want to try and clean that after a muddy race

It looks like the old Yeti DH 9 with an upside down VP linkage stuck in the downtube. It must be heavy to be able to take all that force right in the middle of the downtube. I think it looks cool though - retro. Just like all the girls these days wearing 80's lycra.... but now there are more fit girls wearing that with nicer bums... mmmm nice bums. Oh yeah, we were talking about the bike. mmm bums. heh heh

is it just me or does it look as though it would pull rather than push the shock ??

so if they're trying to make it lighter why do they have Saints and Fox 40's on it...

rear bearing (the red one) is from stiff adapters. The other red one is a place where the rail is (going up and down the seat tube)The main pivot is a movable pivot totally in the front...changes the position by the linkage movement....The shock is pushed up...

I guess it works but all those bearings and pins make it heavier that it could be....
I am a big fan of last 303 but this one is a bit to much....we'll see how it works....and I guess it would work sick...if stiff enough

that's the ugliest frame I have ever seen, however I'm sure it performs decently

I actually like it because its so different from everything else and when you are going that fast no one will have time to judge how it looks

Bikes with less travel should be less beefy. That looks like a tank, albeit a really ugly one.

I wonder what the maintenance is like with so many pivot points. I can imagine, and hope it performs great, but us mere mortals don't have a team of mechanics, and an endless supply of sealed cartridge bearings.

its the same design used on the 303- the rail is right below the seat tube. the link in front of the shock is just for the swingarm motion.

look at that and then compare it with an orange 224. the orange is so simple and yet is up there with the fastest bikes and riders on the planet. why then the need for such a complex mess of links and bearings?
