I believe that a turndown is a lookback where you also turn the bars to do an X-up.

turndown you are more straight up and you are kicking your bike towards the way you want to go. lookback you are more to the side and shoving the bike more or less away from where you want to go.

Realy nice. The kid got STYLE. And it's a lookback, that's basicly a turndown but when you do it over a hip that is opozite from you'r rotation (same goes for quarter pipes when you air opozite) then it's a lookback.
