you can still power wash your bike, just don't have it on a complete jet spray and obviously don't hold it like mm from the pivots etc.

iv been using a pressure hose for years and havnt had bearing problems

That is SO bad for your bike. Any pressure at all ruins pivots bearings and bushings. Use a spray cleaner and a rag
