this is what ide like to see in 09 (on top of other things) what is it? its a dual suspension bike that has a two bolt at points where it connects to the frame. in those two, two bolt sets you can mount adapters for a shock that can pivot or you can mount a bar transforming the dually into a hard tail. the purpose of the two, two bolt sets are to privide stiffness for the bar

So does the swingarm swing down, or is the arrow pointing to where it moves, because if the arrow points in the direction of travel, it wouldn't work. If the swingarm pivots so that it pushes toward the downtube, then you may have a good idea. The only only problem I can see if its the second of these two would be to find a rear shock small enough to fit in the front triangle like that.

To answer your first question the arrow just points to the words. and second question thshock was badly sized on my part, but this is perfectly scaleable and will work with any suspension design

This won't work at all. Also, why the f*ck would you want to transform a dual suspension bike into a hardtail? That's like putting street tires on a 4x4!

just for multipleses and adaptability, it would allow people to have a hard tail and a dh frame.. this could also be adapted so people could fit different size shocks on their bike, so the could have the benefits of a sunday with 6inches fo travel

its actually a pretty good idea. Think about it. One day you go race some DH and the next you wanna race 4X. Just bolt that on and your pretty to go.

Way to think outside the box

it would over pressure the bearings and more then likely weigh a ton. and would indefinately crack

it'd put to much force on the pivots and moving parts

ya i mean the general idea of a dh bike tht could be a hard tail is kinda original but the whole set up is just kinda rediculous!
