Too Much???? You need to do your research before making any comments. This bike retailed for at least three grand. If you don't believe me, check the following links.

http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=2007&Brand=Jamis&Model=Diablo+2.0&Type=bike

http://www.productwiki.com/2007-jamis-diablo-2-0/

and the less expensive Diablo 1.0 is on sale at Jenson USA for $1,149 50% off $2,300 msrp.

I have an 06 Jamis Diablo 1.0, so I know how good a bike Jamis makes and how much they sell for.

its not that much money considering how much quality oyu get out of jamis bikes. Jamis bikes can take any and i mean ANY sorta of abuse. Do the biggest case... its still fine. Do the biggest bail its still fine... There sick bikes i own a Komodo my self and it can take anything you put it though.

To be honest, I have an 06 Diablo 1.0 (as noted above) Most of the weight is in the rear shock coil spring and the tires. With a Front: 26 x 2.70" Maxxis High Roller UST, Rear: 26 x 2.50" Maxxis High Roller UST, you gain a lot of weight. And if you do a little spec checking, manufacturers like Kona and Specialized, don't even list weights for their all mountain and DH bikes???? lol

Hello, is the Diablo still available? Are you upgrading and going to stay with Jamis?
