Super nice bike but..... isn't that front rotor just a little bit too small.

Yeah its only a 6 incher but it works fine for me, not alot of big steep dh here. Next one will be an 8. but im in no hurry.

You need to secure your back brake cable housing to the seatstay otherwise it will get snagged on something while you're riding. Also you don't need an 8" rotor up front, I would personally recommend a 7". Looks better when paired with a 6" rear and also is about 10% lighter than an 8".

It is a medium frame. And yes I run avid cable disc brakes & dont plan on changing them. I weigh 170 lbs so they have plenty of braking power for me, not to mention they are lighter and cheaper to replace than hydros.

The gamut is great for me. Its pretty quiet and was simple to install.
I have it on a iscg adaptor so if it takes a hit it just rotates backward. Id be nervous if i had iscg mounts built into the frame since there is not much to the boomerang.

Thanks.
I prefer the black but have seen some sweet white-ed out bike pics.

White is the hardest color to match. The fork hides that the rim doesnt match perfectly and since there is so much going on in the back end it hides it. Im ocd when it comes to making the color combos on my bikes hahahaaaa
