Yeah, that chain IS on backwards... I'm not positive that it would make a difference, however it's meant to be run the other way (wide side toward the front)

it honestly doesn't matter which way you run it. its all for looks. i had mine on that way cuz i saw it that way on the cover or rideBMX, althought i run it the other way now cuz all my friends b*tch at me for it being backwards. lol
