Theres a really rutted very fast straight into that berm with two jumps at the top. At race speed you are hitting that god knows how fast and there are a lot of loose rocks to screw you up. I ate it just out of shot there and it was a real hurter!
I remember that berm! You can get a load of speed up coming under the bridge. VERY nice save, mucho respect. Hope he got enough speed back up to hit the next hip!

From my experience a problem like that could have been caused and then just as quickly resolved by having your rebound speed too fast - looks like the front wheel kicked out/jacknifed causing the rider to pitch forward and then forks extended quickly enough to stop rider going over front... of course, I could be completely wrong!
