I had a bear that size yesterday run side by side with me on Crank it up for a few secs before it took off into the bush, must have been about a meter away from me.. little dude was standing right in the middle of the trail as I was coming around a berm. Scared the shit out of me. After that saw about 3 more bears in a total of 30mins.

i heard a story not long ago about a bear...
these guys were going on a trip to whistler mtbing....one guy kept on saying he wanted to see a bear really desperatly..
anyway the next day this guy was riding down the singletrack and this bear walked out infront of him, he went over the handlebars and the bear just looked at him asif to say WTF...the guy got up quickly and scamppered off..
must of been funny
