flag erik74 (Aug 21, 2009 at 14:47)
9:42 is extremely light.
  • + 1
flag lukeknight (Aug 21, 2009 at 14:50)
no its not normally people run 9:25
  • + 1
flag lukeknight (Aug 21, 2009 at 14:50)
9t driver 25t front

flag erik74 (Aug 21, 2009 at 14:53)
no, normal people run 25:9.
  • + 1
flag lukeknight (Aug 21, 2009 at 14:59)
^^ i corrected myself!
  • + 1
flag erik74 (Aug 21, 2009 at 15:10)
you never said 25:9, you just wrote out what each number was supposed to stand for...
  • + 1
flag lukeknight (Aug 21, 2009 at 15:17)
no i wrote 25t driver (that means rear over here) and 25t front how much more could i say!
  • + 1
flag erik74 (Aug 21, 2009 at 15:35)
k, 25:9 means 25t sprocket, 9t driver, cog, etc. 9:25 is the opposite, 9t sprocket, 25t driver/cog.
  • + 1
flag lukeknight (Aug 21, 2009 at 15:38)
yes i then ai 9t driver 25t front, i corrected myself !
  • + 1
flag erik74 (Aug 21, 2009 at 15:58)
ya, but now you know how to tell people ratios correctly so that doesnt matter.

why is the fork is backwards?
  • - 1
flag rowerrr (Dec 13, 2008 at 3:56)
to make the bike weird a bit Wink
  • - 1
flag spag (Dec 18, 2008 at 20:15)
also the front wheel is smaller then the back
  • + 3
flag bradownie (Feb 2, 2009 at 7:58)
I think the reversed fork would make the bike a little twitchier (more like track geo), and it also raises the front end to provide more clearance for that monster ring. I'm guessing there were clearance issues with a 700c wheel as well, so the 650 makes sense.

maybe because when it is on the right side the fork hit the wheels ...^^^^

flag Mazekwon (Jul 17, 2009 at 7:56)
well maybe they should inflate the front tire that helps too....
  • + 0
flag DHBANSHEE (Jul 17, 2009 at 9:48)
uhhh... ya'll are missing the point... take the damn chainring off... it would be too hard to pedal you couldnt even ride it on flat... you could only ride it on downhill, if you could find a road long enough to even get going on it fast enough to hold your balance... its stupid.

flag Mazekwon (Jul 17, 2009 at 10:32)
just stand up and start pumping Wink

i wish it was that simple...

flag willbikeforbeer (Aug 19, 2009 at 13:54)
I would think that there isn't enough chain wrap on the rear cog so it would slip. I'd guess the bike is more of a gag than anything and was never intended to be ridden

that bike was specidically made for breaking speed records. the rider stays behind a truck the entire time to reduce most wind drag
