might snap?
might snap!?
the frame is designed for upto 180mm travel forks. as a stock build, they featured jnr T's or 888s...
So, I therefore thought the boxxers would be fine.

dez just got blitzed!!! lol, but there is hard tails out there that can take 300mm travel such as an evil imperial
Erm, no. An Evil Imperial cannot take 300mm travel. They are made for all mountain bike fork's but if you read the warranty there is a common sense policy, the warranty is voided if you exceed 250mm.
who asked you mr pirate go back to your ship.
so he changes his name to dh pete
I never changed my name at all, you're just weird.
And I can't let people make rumors about bikes, someone will believe him and it will just get annoying.

yer, this is more or less a clone of the earlier imperial frames.
it's warranted however only for 180mm, but i've heard of these having bigger forks on them.

sweet, how does it ride with big forks on?
it rides lovely. feels solid, rebounds awesomely... it feels great with 170/180 up front. currently i have some 2006 marz dropoff 3s on, which are great too, but the boxxer react better at FR. I tell you, I wouldn't go for anything less than 170mm on these!!!
Even if i went single crown i'd want 170mm+

yeh lol, it looks sweet, did you paint the frame yourself?
no, the custom paint work comes from duncon factory. you pay like an extra £50 for it.. they have many different schemes including camo, eagles, etc
I'm now looking to buy my second frame, in plain black.

Drop off? Not good idea. Try to find Junior-T, it would be far better. And replace stem with shorter and lower one and... hm, you already have seen my bikes. Try to do in that way, if you like, of course.
Don't need to break this poor boxxer on such bike... =)

hi banz.. yer, why dont you host a pictures of your two cock bikes. they are nice builds..
I'm looking preferably to get some matt black junior ts, or 888s eventually. but the dropoffs are really nice forks. the boxxers are better for the harder riding and feel plush, but i'm usually jumping/dropping the bike so stuck with these.
I'm after some pikes or preferably single crown long travel forks as i have another frame coming soon. I was thinking 66s or 55s??
