Empire cast frame :O A casting made out of aluminium in a permanent moulding process... I look quite well made. I hope i will be good.
Bos suspension quite an old make but just started being compared with fox marzocchi so on i say theyre much better forks too be put in comparision with avalanche probably same price wise
Check out the review of them on pinkbike i dunno if you know how the suspension on moto gp bikes works its pressurised well these forks work in the same way hence the piggy back too probably the best triple clamps on the current market
only sometimes. I bet that bike is very light and strong at the same time. Does anyone know how much does bos fork weigh? I'd love to have that bike.
The bike is not so light, The frame is around high 9 LBS, The Bos fork weighs 8.2 LBS too, This build was definitely not for a weight weenie but at a guess would handle awesome, There has been a few problems with this frame though because one of the test prototypes snapped whilst riding in the alp's, They have gone through a little refining though, I can't wait to see the production model and i like how the top roller is bolted to the frame!
there's a reason why casting hasn't been used up till now, and why it probably won't ever catch on, if you've ever studied metal working/forming grain structures and surface properties you'd know - casting just isn't a realistic process for making an mtb dh frame - In order to attain adequate strength, it will never be lighter than a 'conventional' tubed frame, nor cheaper either!

at first i thought it was made of perspex because the red is the same colour as the car in the background
Those forks are the Bos ones your for £1500
Or 400 to get your internals on your boxxers or 40's done etc.
I'd be very interested to ride one of these. It should be really quiet. I also NEED some of those forks and that shock..
"sometimes light as hell isnt always the way to go" DEFINITLEY not with the wind they get up in scotland!
or the alps haha, everything gets destroyed out ther, and this bike is flipping gorgeous, my friend has one with a cane creek double barrell rear shock, its silent.
