is this at east side?
good come back,, what are ya 13.... i use to go there all the time to.. but they ripped me off,, so i stay away from there.... had a brand new steer put in my fork, they put it on my bike,, i got home to change out the headset, and looked at the steer, its was all rusted and scratched.... new my ass....
they did the same to me with a BB. they charged me for new and it was clearly used. they dont think people would look, they hope that the person that owns the bike doesnt know anything about bikes so they can say it was new when we put it in. BS !!! SCAMMERS.....................................................................................
thats true..... they sell them online cause the store over charges on everything, so they need to go online where people dont know them to sell their stuff now. they have had that frame in the store for atleast a yr now, and no one wants it from them, looks good on them.
i bet if you buy it from them online, they will tax you for it.

I have been visiting bike shops for years now. I've seen both scam artists that aren't fit to hold a f*cking wrench, and I've seen decent people that share a bond based on a love for 2 self propelled transport.
It sucks that there are SO many a*sholes out there running shops, because it discourages the rest of us from going to search out shops. Why? Because, normally all you'll find is overpriced, understocked shops with ignorant teenagers and overly opinionated/aged "Shop pros".
With that said I want to send out some props to the guys (Cosmo & Mike)at Speed River Bicycle in Guelph. They've helped me out on short notice more than once, and have always gone out of their way to help me understand components and different set ups. Oh! I want to show some love to Caleb at Braun's who put me on to PinkBike in the first place! *Saved me lots of money!!
Lastly... I heard good things about Eastside, but the amount of negative comments has me feeling a little hesitant to waste 30mins on the trip to their shop. I may stop in if I'm in the area, but I don't think I'll be going out of my way to visit their shop.

Thanks! I think I will do myself a favor and avoid the rip off/frustration of dealing with Eastside.
*Respect to everyone that gave up some honest advice to others. It's important that we look out for each other, cause that's what a lot of bike shops do.
**Speed River Cycle in Guelph is an AWESOME shop too! Ask for Mike or Cosmo.
